Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Shannell Jr.

Anthony Shannell Jr started making little creative short films around his home that he would show to his family as well as dance and sing impressing anyone who saw. Looking up to Entrepreneurs like Tyler Perry, Walt Disney, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Fred Astaire and many more creatives Anthony knew from a young age what type of person he wanted to become. He looked up to these people because of their drive and determination to succeed. In the 12th grade, Anthony was in a tree accident that caused him to break three backbones, three ribs, his pelvis, and his chest collapse plus internal bleeding. This one thing caused him to miss all the fun things that seniors get to do.

While in recovery, Anthony watched the greatest dancers in the world and took a mental note. He began studying acting, poetry and leaders such as Gaundi, Mandela, Martin Luther King Jr, Obama. He would later go on a win poetry competitions in the community. Once recovered from the accident, Anthony finished school and went to film school. He later found a passion for making music and transferred to music school and that is what he is currently doing now as well as acting and modeling. He was also discovered by one of the top modeling agency in New York. Anthony has big dreams that he has made goals. He is determined and willful and doesn’t let anyone or anything stand in his way. He is still in the process of becoming. A quote that he often says is “This isn’t even the beginning, it’s the foundation”.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I changed schools a lot so it was hard to maintain any close friends and after the tree accident, my main focus was on what I want to be. My family didn’t have much money but we got by. I was raised by a single mother who also has two other daughters. I worked all through high school doing things like cutting grass, trees and washing cars. I would go to school in the day and work at night.

Please tell us about Roy’al Santana.
I am pretty much the business, I do everything, I’m like a one man machine, with the help of my inner circle of course. I dance, sing, act, write, and model I’m still building my company but once we are established, we are going to help those that are like me have an easier transition. We will help low-income families, children without a mother or father and Homeless children as well as elderly people by spending time with them and providing what they cant afford.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Nothing, I believe what happened had to happen in order to become and evolve into the best version yourself.
