Today we’d like to introduce you to Quinton Cook.
Quinton, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was always around music as kid. Playing drums in the church so it was definitely a passion of mines. Fast forward to college, I have a friend who introduced me to this production software named FL Studios and the rest was history.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road. Taking the entrepreneurial route can be very discouraging at times so I giving up crossed my mind a few times. Another thing is getting your peers to recognize you as a business and getting them to respect it.
Please tell us more about your music.
I’m a music producer. Producing a variety of genres such as pop, hip hop, R&B, Gospel, you name it. I’m most proud of seeing my company flourishing now. It’s a blessing.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t necessarily believe in luck. I believe in favor and I think I have been blessed with that for sure.
