Tasha, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
16 years ago, I worked a temporary assignment for a mortgage company. It was there that I developed a love for all thing’s real estate. Over the years my experience extended from working for homebuilders to brokers. Today, I am the proud owner of my own real estate brokerage firm.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has not always been smooth. In the beginning, I struggled with finding the perfect balance of work, personal, and family time. I think most business owners can relate to being in that “building phase” and how challenging it is. Real Estate is also unpredictable so developing a solid plan and sticking to it has helped me immensely to stay on track for success.

I run a residential real estate brokerage firm. We provide many services including consulting, seller representation, and buyer assistance. The best compliments are when my clients say that they feel like I genuinely care and that I made their experience seamless. For this reason, I have many repeat clients and referrals. At the end of the day, I truly love helping people and it just so happens to be in real estate.

My biggest supporter is my husband and I am so very grateful for him. We bounce ideas off of each other all the time since he is also a business owner (Atlanta Creative Photography). Also, my clients keep me going. I absolutely love to hear from them. Whether it be an invite to dinner so I can see what they’ve done to the home I sold to them or just a quick real estate question.
