Patrice, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my blog in 2017 after attending a Journalism program at American University in Washington DC. I have always been passionate about entrepreneurship and helping other people. My blog gave me an outlet to showcase businesses and provide information to my viewers. Over the years, it has evolved a lot. I went from showcasing small business to providing college-prep help for students to now focusing on four categories: Career Development, Content Creation, Entrepreneurship and Finance. Also, through my blog, I provide services to help entrepreneurs and content creators. Those services range from social media management to video editing.
Has it been a smooth road?
In my journey as a blogger and entrepreneur, it has not been the smoothest path. When I first started my blog, I was nervous to promote it. It wasn’t “the popular thing” to have a blog in high school, so I rarely talked about it. I realized I was doing myself and my potential viewers a disservice. God granted me the talent and ability to provide helpful information and services to people and it’s my job to get it done.

Patrice’s Perspective is a blog and service business. On my blog, content is separated into four categories: Career Development, Content Creation, Entrepreneurship and Finance. In addition to that, Patrice’s Perspective provides 4 services: Social Media Management, YouTube Intro/Outro design, YouTube Banner design and Video Editing. It is important to me to provide content and services that helps creators and entrepreneurs grow and makes their life a bit easier. I’m proud of how many people I’ve been able to help through Patrice’s Perspective. It brings me joy when someone expresses how much I’ve helped them. I believe what sets Patrice’s Perspective apart from others is a true commitment to helping others.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is a great place to start a business especially in digital media. There are many people here in a variety of industries to reach out to for advice. Atlanta is also a huge marketplace, making it easy to find clients.
Pricing:
- The services comes in 2 packages on a monthly basis: Package #1: Management of 1 account ($100) and Package #2: Management of 2-4 accounts ($200-300)
- YouTube Intro/Outro: $15 for one; $30 for both
- YouTube Banner: $10
- Video Editing: $15-50 (depending on length of the video and how much detail is wanted)
- YouTube Package: $90 (Includes a YouTube Intro, Outro, Banner and 2 videos edited)
