Meet Shaana Worlds of To Be Single or Not To Be

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shaana Worlds.

Shaana, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The To Be Single or Not to Be brand was created in 2018 when I had what I like to call my “relationship awakening” where I really tapped into gaining the knowledge of what I wanted my love life to look like and also when I finally understood my true worth and value as a person and a woman!

Once I gained those two things, along with other tools, I knew that it was now a requirement for me to share this information with the world and the capacity that I chose to have my voice be heard was through the podcast I created, To Be Single or Not To Be. It is through this platform that I am able to share what love shouldn’t look like through my own experiences and transparency, how to cultivate the love you really desire and being patient with that process because it rarely comes as fast as most of us would like it to, and understanding that having a healthy relationship with your partner is more important than anything with so much toxicity in the world around us.

So, once I saw that people were really tapping into the knowledge and experiences that I was sharing, I knew that I was walking in one of my purposes and decided to keep the party going with the podcast! Now, here we are, almost done with Season 2 and in our 2nd launch of clothing apparel based around the podcast as well!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has had its peaks and valleys, but absolutely worth it through it all! The largest valley came from me being super hesitant to even start the podcast due to not knowing if I was really healed from past relationships or if I wanted to be this transparent to share these horror stories (LOL) with the world because we know this world can sometimes be so judgmental. However, once I started recording, it felt so natural and so right that I knew it was what I was supposed to be doing. Additionally, the feedback that I got from women and men, let me know that my stories resonated with them and that they, too, were learning something from what I had gone through. So, me taking the leap, despite my fears, led me to where we are today!

Please tell us about To Be Single or Not To Be.
The To Be Single or Not To Be brand is a company that is based around all things love and relationships and is the home of the podcast and apparel line by the same name. Our podcast is a weekly discussion of various relationship topics that cover the issues people are facing in love and relationships of all kinds, how we identify and navigate those issues, and lastly, how we overcome these obstacles so we can have better relationship days in the future OR make a conscious choice to just continue being single if we feel the single life is better suited for us! What I am most proud of is the fact that I decided to take a little idea, acted on it in a big way, and now seeing the positive impact it’s had on others makes me truly smile from the inside!

Furthermore, being able to take the success of the podcast into Season 2 (Season 3 is loading) while successfully launching an apparel line is something I am proud of as well along with its success! I think what sets my brand apart from others is the level of transparency and realness that you get on every episode! It’s not scripted, it’s not made up stories, it’s real-life with real people working to help people have real healthy relationships!

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always a fun, outgoing, social butterfly, organized, lively, and ambitious young lady who has been able to transition into a thriving woman with those same qualities still intact and more! Also, I’ve always had an interest in something in the entertainment or creative field, but growing up where I came from, those goals always seemed unattainable or unrealistic. However, once I was able to venture out into the world and tools became accessible to be creative right from your cell phone, I eventually knew this was something I had to do!
