Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathan Tillman.
Jonathan, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my journey in the CBD industry in late 2017. At the time, I was a student at Georgia State University. My major was in Health & Physical education but my concentration was in sports coaching and wellness. Thank God I graduated in May 2019. I wanted to be in this industry because I saw a great opportunity to help my family and my dad church, especially the youth ministry financially. Plus, this is part of my field. During 2017 even though I was in the industry I really just wanted to get a great understanding and knowledge of CBD before I started going full force. In 2018 that’s when I started going out introducing CBD to others. When I hosted my first very own CBD experience event in Fall 2019 and later that year being a guest speaker for a networking event called Bridge The Gap Network shout out to Elizabeth. The reason I started hosting my own events was because I saw a problem in the industry. Many people were selling and not taking the time to educate people on what it is and how it can help them in their health. I wanted to create an event that gives you the education and experience of CBD.
When I was preparing and planning my first event all of sudden the week of my event, a storm out of sudden nowhere came and I had to push through to make it happen. I thank God he gave me the Spirit of persistence to keep going no matter what and the event had a great turnout and God opened other opportunities for me. Plus, people were thanking me for giving them the education, understanding and experience with CBD. During that time, I found out what separates me from others and found my niche in the industry by educating people about CBD first and hosting my own events. God has open doors for me to speak at different networking events and now virtual programs/events on how CBD can help with people’s health.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When you are going after something in life, nothing is easy. This journey has been a constant learning experience and thrilling. Yes, rejection comes along the way and just dealing with people. One of the things that are slowly coming around is the stigma of CBD. When people think of CBD, people automatically think about marijuana but when I take the time to educate and keep it simple for people to understand and know the difference between CBD and THC. People will open up and want to learn more about how CBD can help their family and friends. Overall that just builds character.

I’m a CBD entrepreneur that educates, recruits, and distributes CBD products around the nation. The CBD brand I represent is Oxzgen. I’m proud that my brand ambassador and partner is Juwan Howard, a former NBA player, a former member of Fab5 basketball at the University of Michigan, former NBA assistant coach for the Miami Heat and now the head basketball coach for the University of Michigan. As a company what separates us is the Certificate of analysis that validates the quality of our products. Our products are manufactured by FDA facilities. We have products that are stand alone such as glucose regulation to help people who’s diabetic by the number 1 diabetic doctor in the world and launched a new immune system boost product in the midst of the pandemic. We have a comprehensive fitness program called Oxzfit that includes the following CBD infused products, meal plan prep, and free live online fitness training to help you accelerate your fitness goals. As a company we are always creating and having new products for different audiences across the nation to distribute products and have a healthier life with CBD.
In my business, I want you to make sure you have a clear understanding of everything. Because once you have a clear understanding of everything, you will have the confidence to make a decision and be ready to go. In the CBD industry, so many people are selling and not taking the time to educate people on CBD and the industry. What sets me apart from my competition is that not only do I sell CBD but I truly educate you about CBD and keep it so simple that a five-year-old can understand. I host my own events to give people the knowledge and experience like no other with CBD. People actually get to try out different forms of CBD (like gummies, topicals, spray, coffee, oil, and more) and I have a massage therapist at my event to give you a CBD massage. Of course, hosting my in person events before the COVID-19 happens.
Most importantly, I take the time to educate you, whether individually or in a group. Finally, me and my team can show and help people get started in the CBD industry.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, I’m planning to make more cash flow investments like real estate and being part of different industries that I have a passion for too, such as the video game and fashion industry.
