Today we’d like to introduce you to Alien Johnson.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Saying I’ve always felt musically inclined is janky and cliche. But at the same time, I’ve always felt something…….. a close friend of mine pushed me to take music and general artistry seriously. The rest has been trial and error, personal growth and honing of my craft.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Everybody drives on smooth roads, no potholes, no resistance. Canyons weren’t formed by a gentle wave but years of turmoil and erosion, and I’m a canyon ass negro.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
In Layman’s terms, I make music. But I tell my story through whatever mediums I see fit. Video, podcasts, movies, short films, photographs. I’m proud of myself, who wouldn’t be? Everybody has something that sets them apart. What relates me to people is my charisma, my persona. There’s a human underneath the madness, and you have to have met one or the other first. But you wouldn’t think the two to be opposite sides of the same coin.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
