Linda – please share your story with us.
TK Bridal was founded in 2000 by myself and Pansy Manley, who migrated from Jamaica. Our love for sewing gave us the insight in starting out as a small alterations business, and over the years have grown to one of the Atlanta’s premier full-service bridal stores. When we started we didn’t dream that one day we would become a full-service bridal salon, but over the years our customers were requesting something different than the usual Wedding gowns that are available, they needed something more unique, something they can call their own design, and that’s what birth our full-service Bridal Salon.

Our bridal boutique features custom-made wedding dresses handcrafted by us. If you have an existing bridal gown design in mind, bring your idea to TK Bridal & Alterations.

With our expert garment designers, we will combine your ideas with what works, to collaborate together the exquisite bridal gown for you.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road, at times it feels like you have taken one step forward to take two steps backward. We had to move at least three times in the past five 5-years, not by choice, but was told that our shopping center was being sold and had to move because the new landlord requires everyone out, these were moves that weren’t planned, but through God’s grace and mercy we were able to find the ideal location.

Each move was like starting all over again, we had to invest so much in each move that it completely depleted us, but prayers and persistence kept us going each and every day.

TK Bridal – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
TK Bridal is one of Atlanta’s Premier full-service Bridal Salon. We specialize in custom-made Wedding Dresses, we also carry and expansive collection of wedding gowns, and mother of bride and groom dresses. Our in-store alterations service is amongst the top alterations services in Atlanta, we have a staff with over 30 years of experience serving the Bridal and Formal-wear industry.

We are most proud as a company to have grown as much, without much advertising, but by word of mouth referrals and recurring clienteles, most of our clients have been generational.

What sets us apart from others, are we are one of the only Bridal boutiques where If you have an existing bridal gown design in mind, you can bring your idea to us at TK Bridal & Alterations. With our expert garment designers, we will combine your ideas with what works to bring your exquisite bridal gown to life. We are also your one-stop shop where you can purchase your gown, or bring it from another bridal boutique and have it altered on site.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
There are so many proud moments, and it’s difficult to single out any one moment. Our proudest moments are the thank you’s we receive from our clients.
