Today we’d like to introduce you to Aniyah Fielding.
Aniyah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always loved lip gloss but it is really hard trying to find a nice gloss that is not sticky… I told my mom I wanted to become an entrepreneur and create my own lipgloss line… I didn’t know I was actually going to make my dream a reality but my mom and aunt helped me get started and we officially launched Aug 1st.. I have received so much support from all friends and family since then.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
So far everything has been smooth… However, because I’m still in school I have to be able to juggle homework, making gloss, packing orders, and shipping orders. All can take up a lot of time but it is so worth it when I see my customers on their glosses…
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Real Talk Cosmetics by A. Nicole – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The name Real Talk comes from a personal experience… My father is not actively in my life and I all I have gotten from him is broken promises… All I have ever wanted was the truth which is where Real Talk comes from… I wanted to put a positive spin on a negative situation. I am most proud of how I am Inspiring other children my age… Being an entrepreneur is really hard but you learn to push through… I believe that what my name stands for is really what set me apart. I know that there are a lot of kids that have been or are going through what I am going through… Being able to smile through and create products for everyone to love is an awesome feeling
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We will be launching a new lip gloss collection for my birthday 11/23, so stay tuned for that and also there will be more products to come…
