Today we’d like to introduce you to Nasha’ Bell.
Nasha’, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was working hard for other company’s and people but they did not care about me. With these company’s your just a number. I went to school as well but didn’t finish due to the lack of motivation. I end up getting out of both work and school and decided to pursue my love for nails. I knew I focus better and worked harder for myself and nails would be a great creative way to express myself. I went to Esi and got my nails license right before Covid 19. It seems destined to begin my mobile work. I went from being a mobile to now having suite with my best friend ari_densea. She does hair and I does nails.
Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been slightly difficult. I’ve had mentally broken down due to the lack of support but I got over it. My clients are so spoiled, all they want is mobile. I have my slow months and that it Frustrating but now. I just have to step forward. It’s hard running a business because everything is on you. I feel the weight on my shoulders but it’s okay. Some people have a hard time getting over the fact that I am not Asian.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Tinktips story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a nail tech. I do nails such as manicures, pedicures and full sets. I pamper and service. I specialize in pedicures, my favorite. I groom a lot of males. I am proud of the journey and growth each and every day. Big or Small. I don’t compare myself to others but I do say I put my all into my company.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In the next 5 to 10 years, I believe I’ll be shifting into other aspects of beauty. Running multiple businesses. Maybe get a school.
