Today we’d like to introduce you to Bria Jones.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Three years ago, I started my first business as a lash artist, I didn’t intend on coming this far with my talent back then I just wanted to do something and make a couple of dollars on the side but as I got more into and comfortable with doing lashes I perfected my craft and now I’m one of tops in my city with doing lashes. This particular hustle taught me to never give up and just go for what I know. I love everything about what I do and I someday want to combine multiple hustles to expand my income with my platform I already created I tell myself everyday it don’t stop and it’s BEAUTY SECRETS FOREVER. I came too far; it wasn’t easy at all I’ve had ups and downs and spent out hundreds of dollars to get where I am today but it was all worth it.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Most of my struggles came from sleepless nights, I was determined I was going to finish what I started even with the few clients I had gained they was counting on me and still do today. There were days I had to work, see about my kids, etc. but that didn’t stop me it actually motivated me so now I set my own schedule and get my rest when ever I need it.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Beauty Secrets Forever LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
I have been in business for three years, I named my business BEAUTY SECRETS FOREVER. One day I was like I got to come up with a unique name something catchy with a bomb logo so course beauty is everywhere, every woman wants to look beautiful whether its hair, nails, makeup, lashes, etc. so I decided to name it that because beauty is forever and it’s many ways to enhance your beauty, it’s a secret to look this good lol. I’m most definitely proud of myself mostly because I would have never thought I would have cane this far so this is a big accomplishment for me to others; they may think I’m just a small business but it’s huge to me and I know I’m doing something good.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Self-discipline, management, learning how to save, customer service skills, interactions with my clients, behavior, etc. All this matter when you are conducting business, I taught myself that it is very important to treat people how u would want to be treated so it’s my pleasure to greet and thank everyone for business. Lately, I been blessed and having the best of luck on the lash industry. I don’t regret any day of it, it’s actually paying off
