Today we’d like to introduce you to V-Henny.
“A kid with a broken paintbrush, who never gives up, always sees the vision and paints a bigger picture.” There has never been a more powerful force than one of V-Henny, an innovator, since the beginning, her life has revolved around music and the arts as she was cultivated around Dj’s break-dancers, rappers, and salseros. At the age of 14, Henny started writing music with a hunger for life and her pen as a weapon she turned her poetry into Hip-Hop and changed her life forever. Her musical influences include El Cantante Hector Levoe, Slick Rick to Notorious BIG.
As a pioneer for women in the industry, Henny used her respect from the streets and her love for music to provide a platform for independent artists everywhere. In 2011 V-Henny started the Art of Muzic concert series to give the concert experience for both artists and audience alike, providing networking opportunities for underground artists. As an independent artist, Henny is aware of the struggles of the independent artist when trying to cultivate their craft. After a two-year hiatus The Art of Muzic came back in full force with a platform to accompany it. The Artistry Show became the number one interview source for independent artists and businesses.
The Artistry radio show spreads the message of universal music to the masses, showcasing a new breed of independent artists looking for their big break, which include networking opportunities, promotional opportunities and more. With her ongoing successes, V-Henny has been able to evolve into the world of fashion, media, public relations and even touring opportunities.
In 2017, through a strategic collaboration with Scott Morris and Mor Bookings organization, they have branched out their operations nationally and internationally. She participated in her first women in media conference as well as major events such as SXSW and A3C. She currently looks to evolve and work with the independent artists and make her platform evolve on an international level.

Has it been a smooth road?
To be honest No, it has not been a smooth road. However, I am a strong believer if you want to be great; you have to be great, meaning there were a lot of sacrifices made from personal relationships to financial situations to even personal development.
Many times I felt defeated and unsure whether I wanted to continue pursuing my dreams. I fell so many times but I got up. I accepted my truth, my faults and my mistakes and I applied it to my growth as lessons that were meant for me to learn in order to become who I am now.

The Artistry Entertainment became a platform to help other entrepreneurs such as artists, producers, comedians and other businesses have their story shared and recognized. I specialize as a Media Personality but also as an event coordinator/curator, marketing and promotions. I have helped and given artist a platform to perform outside of their regions, international and nationally. I’ve shared many stories in which it helped individuals gain a wider audience.
I’m most proud of is helping others achieve certain goals that made them feel discouraged to pursue. My self-respect, self-confidence, creative mindset and reputation is what makes me stand out from others. I own up to my mistakes and make sure everything is resolved properly. I Seek longevity when it comes to building relationships.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see my company becoming one of the biggest platforms within the industry internationally. Having a strong marketing & Promotional team, having a strong and creative coordinators for our events. Having the best writers for our website and best A&R’s to help discover & build up new talent. The Artistry Show will remain the number one interview source for independent artists and businesses.
Having a large network from the relationships that we are building. We’ve created festivals, tours and concerts and showcases with a mixture of mainstream and independent, spreading the passion, building a stronger network and expanding the names of not only our company but others as well.
