Vanessa, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Hello, I’m Vanessa Rae. I’ve been on this art journey since the age of five. I decided to go to college for Graphic Design in 2011. I was in a bad accident where two of my friends passed away, and I ended up in a wheelchair with other issues. I taught myself how to walk and talk again by the grace of God. I recently put myself back in school last year and finally received my degree in March. Graduating top of my class, “Summa Cum Laude.” After I graduated, I decided to LLC my business.
Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been a rough nine years but, I’ve overcome so many obstacles. So, I refused to let anything get in front of my dreams. So I made my dream my reality!
We’d love to hear more about your work.
I design hand-drawn graphics and freehand paintings/drawings. I’m proud that I’ve been able to bring anyone who has come in contact with my business vision to life! I’m unique in my own way and my style can’t be duplicated!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
It’s beautiful been here my whole 26 years of living! A lot of opportunities! I wouldn’t say I like the traffic; it’s out of hand.
