Today we’d like to introduce you to Alisha Alexander.
Alisha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m from and live in Columbus, GA. I started taking photos in the Summer of 2017. I was always the one getting great angles for my friends whenever they needed them. So I was gifted a camera later that year & I have been going ever since.
In the Spring of 2020, I started selling my natural 4in1 conditioner called Alisha’s Hair Whip. A lot of my friends had been natural for years, leaving the relaxing chemicals behind. Everyone still had problems with their hair and scalp, so I figured why not sell my mixture to help everyone out. After a 4-month self trial along with more testing, I released my Hair Whip with 7 oil choices. Now I have ten different products and a website to be released in January 2021. 2020 has been a crazy time for many reasons. I’ve just been staying level headed, accepting, adaptive and grateful for all of the support and guidance I have received thus far.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In August 2020, my car was stolen and ALL my equipment was stolen. An amazing friend let me borrow their camera for now and I was able to continue my passion.

I’m a Photographer and I make natural hair products. I’m most proud of my perseverance throughtout this year. I run two different businesses at one time.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
All my family together honestly. I miss my Dad big time. I wish he was here to see me soar.
