Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Bradshaw.
Hi Jeremy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story is different when I was in high school, I was very good at basketball but couldn’t stay out of trouble. So I went and played at a school and got kicked out. Then I started working a job in a factory. A guy gave me an opportunity to go back to school when I was 26 and I tried out for the junior college team and I made it. Then after getting my associate’s, I went to a four year and played two more years there. After I graduated, I started coaching and training, working for a professional basketball trainer learning the business and that’s how I started my company.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Success is never smooth. When I first started training athletes, I would sleep in my expedition because I had no money to rent rooms because I was traveling from city to city.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I own JET TRAINING ACADEMY we are a basketball/athletic training company that focuses not only on sports but life goals. We offer tutoring etc. as well as athletic enhancement. We check grades and do a lot of work in our community.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Yes, I learned to slow down and focus more.
