Conversations with Kenyotta Crim

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenyotta Crim.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Kenyotta Sania Crim. I was born in Valley, Alabama. I am the mother of two brilliant young men Emory Blake Brown and Terrance DeShone Huntchinson. My life has been filled with many twist and turns. I have had abortions, I’ve been in mentally and physically abusive relationships. I battled with depression for years and even considered suicide. I remember a time when I could not even look in the mirror because I was disgusted with me. I did not love, honor or respect anything about the person I saw in the mirror. I was a college dropout with two children and I didn’t have anything but debt. Because I didn’t know how to love myself, I didn’t know how to love anyone else, including my children, so I sent them to live with my mother until I could get myself together mentally. During this time I spent time praying, fasting, seeking wise counsel and working on what was broken in me. After my time away I came back stronger than ever. I stopped playing with my own potential and I asked God to help me rebound financially, spiritually, mentally and emotionally and he hasn’t failed me yet.

I am the C.E.O of The Regal Eagle LLC. a luxury concierge service and The Founder of the Queen’s Standard. The queen’s standard is a way of life from self-help books to clothing and other merchandise. I am on a mission to build wealth, health and discipline through biblical principles. My one true desire is to see people become who they were originally created to be. Life is a Journey the key to succeeding is to never stop walking.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Have you ever tried to build something bigger than you without a penny to your name? I remember some day’s wondering how in the world am I going to build a business when I cant even pay my current bills. My pride was huge I really had an issue with having to ask people for money with the strong chance of them saying no or making me feel worse than I already did for even having to ask. I can honestly say after I pushed my pride to the side, God really did surround me with people who did not judge me but have supported me along this journey.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
For the past five years, I was a Pastor of Administration. This part of my life brought me even closer to God and allowed me to gain a new perspective of me. During my time of being a pastor, it allowed me to build a new foundation for my life. I am forever grateful for that opportunity. This is where I found that I had a love for administration. A companies foundation depends on it administration. Administration is the heart of every company and organization. Believe it or not you need administration in your personal life. It’s the structure and order for me. Lol! In my role of administrator, I did a lot of things which I realized that I loved.

Planning events, running errands, keeping people on schedule, organizing not only the church calendar but even the other pastor’s personal calendars. Because I was around the other pastors who had their own businesses of course, I started to think what could I do and that when it hit why not offer the same services you provide for the church to other people. Everybody needs a little organization and if they don’t realize it yet they eventually will! I know now everyone one has their business that offers basically what I offer but what sets me apart is my heart. I do this for people because I am a servant to my core. I use to hear this question all the time what is the one thing you would do for free if money wasn’t a factor. My answer is simply serve people. It might sound crazy but its true. Do you need a ride? I got you. Do you need someone to do your laundry? I got you. Do you need someone to run your errands? I got you. Do you need someone to fill out your paperwork and run your front office? I got you. Do you need your taxes done? I’m licensed… I got you. I’m a woman with a lot of gifts but the best one of all is I simply love to serve.

What makes you happy?
My sons… Their joy, love, smart mouths and wisdom is unmatched. I am more than blessed to be called mommy by Emory and Terrance.
