Meet Taylor Malone of Natural Visionary Events in Atlanta, GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Malone.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started out with love for the arts. I would go to museums and festivals and fall in love with the colorful designs. I would fantasize about putting together the designs for a festival or museum. Back in 2018, I had the idea of becoming a Decorator. It was barely an idea because I had no idea what I wanted to decorate or even how I would get this all started. All I knew is I needed experience I volunteered to work with Dandelions Design Studio with Adrian Jenkins. She specialized in home staging and design. I learned so much from her about owning a business, design, and prepping for an event. Little did I know this was the beginning of my journey to owning my own company.

Then I spent some time working with Kathy Patterson-Taylor at Tell All Inc. I will never forget what she told me on my very first day. She said, “This ain’t gonna be easy. You will know if you are cut out for this industry.” I learned a great deal from her as well. I got to decorate an entire event for the first time with her guidance. She taught me that if you’re good at something, capitalize on it. Two years later, after really gaining my bearings and hitting milestones within my career. I was hired as a Full-Time Party Planner for a primer party store. This was where my career really started to elevate. Not only did I learn to take an event all the way from A to Z. I learned about balloons. I learned to do balloon garlands, backdrops and arrangements. And from this point on, I felt confident in all the skills I was armed with and my business grew with it.

The Natural Visionary LLC came from having a vision of what I wanted to do as a creative. Being passionate enough to ameliorate my skills. Being committed to coordinating and decorating everyday. It became more and more reality than a vision. I specialize in balloons, event decor, coordinating and vendor locating. I officially launched my brand August 21st 2021. I have hired an Assistant, Akilah Ho-Young, and she has been truly great addition to my brand. My company is growing at new heights, and I’m loving the journey. Natural Visionary’s growth is so personal to me. It’s always been something I’ve done Naturally!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Covid was a struggle event getting canceled left and right. I wouldn’t get hired a lot in the beginning because of my experience.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in balloon decor, custom centerpieces, event styling, coordination and planning. What sets me apart from anyone else is not only will I come in and decorate and make sure the event goes on without a hinge. I’m gonna let my personality shine. I will be eccentric and charismatic, making the experience something you wouldn’t forget.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Is the experience that people have when they interact with me and my brand. It’s very important to me because I have a lot of love and light to spread through my passion and I want people to feel that and leave with a lasting impression.
