Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I attended Emory University, Goizueta Business School and studied finance and international business, but was always entrepreneurially focused. To me, entrepreneurship unlocks potential, unlike any other career. I started my business, Rose + Macaron, this year because I am passionate about my product and want others to enjoy it. Rose + Macaron is a luxury macaron gift box business based in Atlanta, GA, that creates and styles gift boxes for all occasions. We hand deliver custom macaron and floral arrangements for anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, etc. All of our gift boxes feature fresh flowers, authentic French macarons, and premium stationary. Rose + Macaron values community, which is why we aim to source fresh ingredients from small local businesses in the Atlanta area.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have always been entrepreneurially focused. This is not my first business venture, but it is my first successful one. It is hard to admit failure, but the sooner you move on and gravitate your time towards new ideas, the better. And that is exactly what I did – I learned many lessons from those startups but moved on. My time, energy, and attention are the most valuable resources I have, and I need to maximize the use of those three elements toward success.

Rose + Macaron is the first and only luxury macaron gift box and custom arrangements business in Atlanta, GA. All of our arrangements feature fresh roses and authentic French macarons. Our bestseller is the “Roses + 12 Macarons” Gift Box. It is a premium stationery gift box filled with fresh roses and 12 authentic French macarons. All orders come in the company’s signature rose gold gift box and rose gold gift bag. Although we have several offerings on the website, I want readers to know that any arrangement you can imagine is possible! We have baby shower and bridal gift boxes, but any rose color and macaron count/flavor you would like can be created within reason.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson that I have learned along my journey is to follow my passion. If you are passionate and believe in yourself, that is all that matters. It’s not all about the money. It is about being passionate – which intensifies focus. You can’t achieve happiness, success, or higher productivity without that trait.
