Today we’d like to introduce you to Draco Da Don.

Hi Draco, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started as a YouTube or Content Creator back in college. But later on, I started listening to a lot of music living on my own and started studying certain artists which led me to pick up the notepad and start making music myself. So far, I’ve obtained over 2,100 YouTube subscribers. 1700 Monthly Spotify Listeners and over 1000 streams on Apple Music. This is my first year really making music so I’m just looking forward to get better with every release. My latest song is “Murder She Wrote” and my most known song is “My City” from my Debut EP “Make em Remember” which has over 1,800 views on YouTube and over 600+ streams on Apple Music.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As far as today, it’s still a struggle being from where I’m from which is Jackson, Mississippi. Known as one of the highest murder rate cities in America, I just do my best to stay out the way and make music. Music and my daughter really keep my head on straight. Either I’m working on new music or at home with her being a Dad. It’s all so new to me being a dad and making music so right now I’m just playing the course with both and striving to be the best “Draco” I can be.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an artist/musician from Jackson, Mississippi. My latest EP I just dropped back in July was named “Make em Remember” which is on every streaming music platform so be sure to go check that out! And right now, I’m just looking to work with bigger artists from other surrounding cities to show that I can be a top artist from where I’m from. Because where I’m from, it’s the jungle, your basically competing every other day but myself, I see myself in competition with anyone. I just wanna continue being a better me
