Today we’d like to introduce you to Noelle Lucas.
Hi Noelle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I founded the Femme Agency as someone who has always had a love for aesthetics and finding the beauty in all things. After co-founding my first business, Blaze Atlanta, I fell in love with the process of creating and growing a brand from the ground up. I created all the content for our business from photography, videos, etc. and I just loved coming up with creative campaigns and ways to advertise our candles.
After a while, many other brands and small businesses started reaching out to me asking if I would be interested in shooting and creating content for them and that’s kind of where the agency was born. I just graduated from Georgia Tech in August where I studied Digital Marketing and really learned the in’s and out’s of content and social media marketing. This course really helped me to refine my skills and gain so much more knowledge on the industry. Today, we now have worked with many small businesses local to Atlanta and we really hope to grow!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Absolutely not. When you’re starting a new business it’s always hard. Freelance is something that is so new to me and the back of house aspect of this business is extremely different from running a product based business. Additionally, customers that you have in a product based business are very different from CLIENTS that are creating for. Clients have a certain vision and that may not always align with your creative vision. Through a lot of trial and error I have had to create many contracts and be more selective about who I decide to work with based on how I work creatively.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Femme Agency. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Femme Agency is a boutique content agency based out of Atlanta, GA. We work with the modern-day girl boss to bring her visual dreams to life.
The Femme Agency specializes in content creation and content marketing. We are so proud of the creative shoots we have done for our clients and the growth we have been able to see in their businesses because of it!
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Nothing makes me happier than when a client is in love with the work we have done for them. When taking on a client, we do research, we have a call with the client, we mood board, and a lot of pre-work to ensure that we have everything we need to create what the client wants that also aligns with the agency’s style. Nothing is better than a satisfied customer and a successful execution of their content!
