Meet Greg “Gsremarkable” Linder

Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg “Gsremarkable” Linder.

Hi Greg “Gsremarkable”, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story starts in Newport News, Virginia. Before I ever picked up a camera, Not too long after graduating high school, I connected with a record label named Rocstars Entertainment. This was a local record label with a major distribution deal, which allowed me to be exposed to the full creative efforts of the music industry. I started to build a brand name of GSremarkable. I believe when you are an artist, you are an artist on many canvas’s. As I was releasing musical projects, I was also watching carefully how the directors and camera crew filmed my music videos. This sparked my interest for the camera, and I was soon directing and shooting my own videos.

I was so intrigued with learning the camera and producing film that music soon took a back seat and I relocated to Jacksonville, FL where I continued to sharpen my production skill and convert my audience from my music to my video production. Since being in Florida, I have been able to work with some of the best talents in Jacksonville on a film named Sampled Love which I directed and produced. I was able to create a name in the fashion industry to create three seasons of the reality show Florida’s Next Top Model which was in collaboration with Leamber J. I have worked with hundreds of entertainers, brands, and business owners to help bring to life their visual projects.

Remarkable VI Studios is my newest business venture. Opening a photography/video studio that allows me to challenge my creativity and also provides a location for freelance content creators to come and expand their work. My goal is to create a name in the film industry with upcoming projects I think will captivate and inspire.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road for me. I know social media is like highlight film, it only shows us the reward of the hard work that we have put into our careers and never really shows the losses we take along the way. I have battled depression for a whole year and during that time, I really didn’t want to create or work with anyone, but at this point, I had created a demand for my work. So I was still taking on projects, but I wasn’t able to put my all into the project and I was slack on my business task. This slowed down the momentum I had created for myself but also allowed me to learn things about myself I wasn’t aware of. I think thats the most important part of a “loss” we have to turn those into lessons so that we learn ourselves and from that come back stronger. That’s exactly what I did, came back stronger. Even though the following year COVID-19 happened and it slowed the world down. I was able to find my second wind, my mental strength came back and I created Remarkable VI Studios. This venture has been new for me to understand the day to day elements of running a studio moving away from freelance work.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Remarkable VI Studios provides videography, photography, and branding services for the growing business owner, brand, or entrepreneur. This is different from my freelance work because I dedicated myself to a niche, and that is businesses, brands, and entrepreneurs. I’m most proud of the fact that I feel totally confident in the fact that I can play my hand in the success of a brand by providing my creative taste to their projects. What sets us apart from others is that we are a production house with a background in digital marketing. This allows any visual project we take on to have an element of understanding how the project will convert and make money for the business or brand. We walk the line of being an agency but offer elite production options for our clients.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I would like to thank the readers for taking the time to learn more about a me. I have dedicated my life to the creative/business world and I’m ok with that because it fulfills my purpose. I think that’s what we always have to question if something fulfills our purpose. The money and material items will not make us happy, but the pursuit of our purpose will bring everything we will need in life. If you are in pursuit of your dreams keep going because it’s your obligation to yourself to see it through.
