Hi Chantz, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Being a flight attendant (but 20+ years of IT and web development prior) and seeing how my landlord had a hard time collecting rent (13+ years ago without today’s fancy mobile app payment methods), I was suggesting to him that I could build him a website to automatically collect rent, manage tenants (he has about 60 people in 2 locations) as well as making the website search engine friendly so new tenants could find him; I soon realized that this service could be used by all CrashPad owners. And from this, the genesis or CrashPad411.com.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I can’t say it’s been a 1st class seat the whole way, some times we’ve had to ride the jump seat on a 12 international flight, ha.
I guess one of the biggest challenges not being able to develop features as fast as we would like.
We do have full-time staff that answers emails and other support questions, but hiring and coordinating developers on a shoe-string budget does not allow us to build out new features as fast as we would like.

I have been in software development for more than 20 years. We have several projects worldwide, between real estate websites, jobs websites and mobile apps. We currently have about 20 mobile apps on the Android and iOS app stores.

As far as future plans for CrashPad411.com, we are currently working on hotel bookings exclusive to airline employees worldwide. Airline crew members travel almost as much as they do for pleasure as they do for work. They are always looking for good hotel deals and we will be able to bring them offers much cheaper than the ‘big dogs’ like Agoda and Booking.com.
