Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Levison.
Jeremy, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was introduced to hot yoga while in college and then tried out a spinning class and quickly became a regular. One day the instructor didn’t show up and I wound up teaching the class. I then became a certified fitness instructor and started teaching at LA Fitness followed by FlyWheel when they opened in Atlanta. At the time I was working full time for my family business but always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to go out on my own. When the opportunity presented itself to combine my passion to be a business owner with my love of fitness it was a no brainer. I opened BURN Studios in Brookhaven in 2015 offering not just cycle classes but also yoga and boxing and I have been blown away by the support we have received from the community and the number of lives we have touched for the better. I am beyond excited to see the impact we will have when our second location opens in 2018.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We faced the same challenges that many other small business face, generating business, staffing, and name recognition. It’s a grind at first. Even given the challenges, I wouldn’t change a second of my journey as it has given me an appreciation for how far we have come today.

I learned everything I know about business from my father who inspired me to go after my dreams. I have an amazing business partner who is a great sounding board and supports me in all aspects of the business. None of this would even matter without our loyal clients, without them we would not be where we are today and they are the heart and soul of BURN.
