Today we’d like to introduce you to Dior The Luxe Queen Honey Bee.
Hi Dior, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My experience as an entrepreneur has been a span of over 15 years however being in the Beekeeping World it has been about 5 years. Here is how it all started my brother and I started growing vegetables and giving them to the community because we saw a need for individuals to eat healthy food without chemicals and pesticides. Then one day my brother came to me and said lets get into Beekeeping and harvesting honey. So I thought about it and said let’s do it and we made it our business to educate everyone about TЯuth Honey what we stand for and how important the honeybees are to everyday life.
My personal journey started on May 10, 2018. This was the day that TЯuth Honey was doing its first launch in a Unique Gift Shop. It was early morning and on the way back home I fell asleep at the wheel from working all night on TЯuth Honey and before I knew it I was flying off the embankment airborne into a massive. I had to be rushed to the hospital as I was in the ambulance my brother said to me that he wasn’t going to the Launch. I told him I am alive and to go represent for TЯuth Honey.
After the accident, the doctor was putting me on several medications that my body started to reject all of them. There was so many thoughts that can come across a person’s mind when being in such a critical and vulnerable position. I thought to myself there has to be a better way to get better. I remember sitting at the table looking at a bottle of TЯuth Honey and I said let me take some TЯuth Turmeric honey and before you know it I was putting it in everything and feeling better at the same time. This is how TЯuth Honey Wellness Drinks were created. For those that are not aware, honey is good for the body internally and externally and Turmeric is good for inflammation and nerve pain all of what I was having. I slowly but surely begin to nurse myself back to good health. From there it was my goal to empower everyone I came in contact with about honey. The more I studied about Honeybees it increased my drive to make them an integral part of my life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As an Entrepreneur in the beginning stages in any company there will always be some sort of challenges and I have seen my share. The main challenge for TЯuth Honey was that we lost several hives that were Italian Bees due to the very different climates here in Georgia. As a first time beekeeper, we had to learn that the Italian bees were better off in more of a stabilized weather condition. That really pushed me to take a deeper dive in what was needed for our hives to survive. The more I studied the more I realized that the Russian Bees are hybrid bees with a longer life span and are stronger because they can sustain colder climates, rain and storms. Then there was an issue with ants in the hives not harming the bees but getting to the honey which if the ants take all the honey the bees wouldn’t survive because the bees feed off of their own honey. Once we got this settled our hives were doing well and healthy.
