Today we’d like to introduce you to Keyshawn Bush.
Hi Keyshawn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Well when the pandemic started finances were becoming tight and I found myself with a lot of time on my hands to generate extra funds. I wanted to start a business but I was unsure of what kinda business I wanted to start at first. I knew I wanted to be a business owner tho …..so after a while of pondering on the idea. I decided to start a skincare business because that’s what I had a passion for.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely not been an easy road. We were in a pandemic so finding and funding my supplies was an issue. A lot of times things I needed were sold out almost everywhere. Not to mention trying to find the funds. It’s not easy starting a business from ground up. Then comes smaller issues of those wanting things for free or discounted prices. You can’t do that and make profit, so that was hard for me too.
We’ve been impressed with Signature soap.co, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in skin cream. I’m known for the “ultimate shine” that my cream gives your skin. My caring nature and dedication is what sets me apart from others. By saying that I mean I cater to each customer’s skin. For those who have sensitive cream, I make unscented and also leave out other ingredients that may irritate the skin. I’m proud of the positivity my brand holds. My brand is my face and I’m proud that people actually support me the way they do. I offer different varieties of scents in my cream line. As previously stated I also offered unscented for sensitive skin. I also have bumper stickers, coasters, keychains, and refrigerator magnets. In the near future, I will be introducing more products such as candles and apparel.
