Meet Tash Jordan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tash Jordan.

Hi Tash, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m originally from New York City. Played college football in upstate NY at Hartwick College for two years then decided to immerse in acting. From 2017 – 2020 I was auditioning like crazy through Backstage, ActorsAcess & Casting Networks. I’ve appeared on MTV’s Next Big Dance Move which you can watch on YouTube. I’m the 3rd contestant in the “Bonebreaker Episode”. I’ve appeared in a couple of other music videos as well. My 1st break was the show “Monster” which is coming out next year on Netflix. I just filmed one of my episodes on the new Fresh Prince of Bel-Air which will stream on Peacock.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I’ve went through the gauntlet to get to where I’m at today and I’m still not satisfied. 1st & foremost, coming out of college I had no connections in the industry nor the skills to network. I was basically a chicken with its head cut off. I’ve auditioned for low-quality student films with no pay just for experience… The constant rejections as an actor is regular but still get annoying. I’ve changed jobs like a baby changes clothes due to management not being flexible knowing I’m an actor. The biggest challenge as an actor is balancing honing your craft, networking, working multiple jobs with taking care of yourself & relationships. Still working on that as we speak

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an actor, dancer, content creator. I specialize in TV/Film & videography. I’m most proud of being a part of the biggest TV show of our generation. My drive, dedication & militant mindset set me apart. I’m from The Bronx. If I survived that concrete jungle, nobody and nothing is competing with me.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
