Today we’d like to introduce you to Harry Forbez Julmice.
Hi Harry Forbez, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born in an underprivileged neighbourhood. My father was a leader and always had the spirit of an entrepreneur so he would grind up 12 to 16 hours everyday and build businesses in and out of the country to make sure our family was strong, united and on the path of creating generational wealth. But in the environment that I grew up in was too toxic and the lack of money was a serious issue and our family kept being persecuted by the system so it became almost impossible to get ahead.
So as a young child, I had made a promise to myself that I was gonna provide for my family by any means necessary, so I started comprising my wellbeing for money until one day got introduced to entrepreneurship and it changed my life for the better.
On that day, I had found my true passion and higher calling of mentoring youth from underprivileged neighbourhoods. And I realized that through entrepreneurship, I had the power to really improve the lives of my family, friends and the community and that I could deliver on the promise I made to myself when I was younger while continuing the legacy of my father.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a tough journey, sometimes I almost broke down in tears that how though it can get. I’ve lost businesses, relationships, the love of my life, friends, I lost money from bad investments, I’ve had financial institutions steal money from me but today I can say that I’m at peace with myself and I wouldn’t change a thing because I stayed down and never comprised my core values.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

We facilitate conversation workshops, design artistic and cultural initiatives, and produce inspiring content that strengthens connections between organizations and communities.
And our collective is 100% Black and Racialized. And we are proud to say that we support the next wave of socially conscious artists.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see the industry prioritizing the well-being of their employees and consumers if they want to stay relevant.
