Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Emerson.
Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
After working in corporate America for 20 years, fashion has always been a passion of mine. My friends always come to me for styling assistance. I lost my job due to Covid19 in June of 2020. I then focus on starting my own boutique and I honestly haven’t looked back.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has definitely NOT been easy. There were so many times I wanted to give up. I have so many family and friends that genuinely root for me, so that keeps me going. I also have two beautiful princesses that look up to me, so I dare couldn’t let them down. Especially when I always instilled them never give up on your dreams.
We’ve been impressed with KJs Boutique, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kjs Boutique specializes in ladies latest trendy contemporary fashion. I’m always introducing something that is trending. That best thing is pricing, I feel that people shop with me is because I offer all sorts of styles with various price ranges that are still affordable. I also offer various payment options. Oh, did I mention I offer misses and plus sizing? We ship worldwide.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I honestly think any decision you make in life is a risk, so yes major risks was taken. The risk of finding a normal 9-5 with steady income, losing everything I own, being homeless, losing self-pride. All of these things were risks I took after I decided to become an entrepreneur full-time. I also believe that risks has to be taken in order to know if you’ll succeed.
