Meet Alicia Clay of Sophizo Professional Organizers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alicia Clay.

Hi Alicia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?As a former personal trainer turned wellness enthusiast, I’ve always been passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness related goals. I implemented this “function equals wellness” mentality throughout all aspects of my life…until I began working long hours outside of my home. My time was no longer mine, and my home became a den of disorganization. My personal health and wellness were being negatively impacted by the lack of functionality in my living spaces and I had to make a change.

Making a change took prayer and courage, and after much consideration, I took time off of my job to get my living spaces in order. I realized that I had a natural ability to come up with solutions for problem areas, and I began implementing this ability by putting systems in place throughout my home.

What a transformation in my every-day life! Hair day became a breeze. I found myself cooking in my newly organized and functional kitchen and loving it! All my puzzles and games had a home and our family engaged in these activities more frequently. The amount of satisfaction I was experiencing in my life was unbelievable.

I was given a new purpose in life; to help others have functional and orderly spaces in their living environments knowing that this will, in turn, have a direct effect on their wellness and well-being. The spaces in our home should represent who we are and where we are going. The functionality of our homes should be optimized for peak performance whether we are eating, working, doing chores, getting dressed, playing games, exercising, or even sleeping.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
 No journey is without obstacles and my biggest hurdle was getting over the fear of venturing out on my own as an entrepreneur. Once I gained enough courage to take a chance and go for it, the road was surprisingly seamless.

We’ve been impressed with Sophizo Professional Organizers LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
 Sophizo Professional Organizers help to organize and find functional solutions to any disorganized nonfunctioning space for our clients. We organize anything in your residential space including kitchens, pantries, living spaces, bedrooms, closets, drawers, garages, playrooms, craft rooms, game rooms, and more. Our specialty is to create wellness through function. We also cater all spaces to the client so that one solution does not fit all – making most of our solutions non conventional. I love to hear my clients tell me how seamless it is to clean when they know where everything goes, and how much stress is relieved by releasing the visible clutter. They don’t waste money buying things they already have because they are actually able to see what they have. These are just a few of the many perks of having a well organized home.
