Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started stepping into the hair industry five years ago. I broke out into the scene doing hair review on YouTube for some of you guys top favorite affordable hair companies such as Beauty Forever Hair, Unice Hair, Westkiss hair, Nadula Hair and that’s just to name a few. I have been recognized by other top hair product companies such as Manic Panic the hair color company. After being on YouTube for a while reviewing other companies hair, I became a brand ambassador for some of those companies and Became a hairstylist while I was in college in Montgomery, Alabama. I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia but I spent time in Montgomery Alabama because I was attending Alabama state university. I recently decided after all these years of promoting and reviewing other companies hair, I’ve decided to create my own hair company called “MILAN LONDON”.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
YouTube was pretty easy because I was doing what I love and being myself but It has not been a smooth road. This journey took a lot of hard work, patience, and dedication. One of the hardest things was gaining clients when I decided to become a stylist. Asking someone to put their trust in you is a lot. However, I did have people that trusted me because they saw how much I valued beauty. Being as though I went to an HBCU college, one of the biggest things is the band and the dancers during football season. So one of my biggest goals was to be able to do the famous Stingettes of Alabama State University hair during football season. So throughout my time at ASU, I met a lot of amazing people and one of those people was the famous stingette captain Amber Pricett of 2017. She believes in me and ask me to do the teams hair for the Magic city classic. In the HBCU world that is the biggest game of the season there lights, camera and celebrities. It was a huge arena to showcase talent. Later I meet a famous dancer name Janae Harrington she was a star on the hit tv show on lifetime YCDT Superstars. She later became Stingette captain in 2019 and because of previous associations with the team she trust me enough to let me work with her and her team throughout the season. In 2018 I was also the hairstylist for Arianna Thompson who was MISS ALABAMA STATE UNIVERSITY OF 2018.

I am a Hairstylist, CEO, and YouTuber. I review different companies hair, create tutorials, hairstylist, and run my own hair company. I specialize in sew-in, custom coloring, custom wig making and provide different hair textures to complete my clients overall. I also provide honest and factual reviews to help guide people who have no knowledge with deal with hair extensions. I’m like a source you can use to answer questions you may have before purchasing hair extensions. I’m most known for being me, being relatable, honest and just having talent. What sets me apart is that I focus me and my client. I want to see everyone win so I’m down to always put someone on. I don’t compete with other cause there’s room for everyone. I set my set apart by allowing my talent, hardwork, energy and personality showcase itself.

JUST LAUNCH THE BUSINESS! You can make it perfect later. You are going to fail at some things but you gotta keep going. Learn from your mistakes. Believe in yourself.
