Rashad Terry is a dual-licensed esthetician & licensed esthetician instructor in the state of Florida (full Specialist Esthetician & Georgia (Esthetician).
He carries 13 years of experience in the beauty industry. His work has been featured on a 6 page spread in lifestyle magazine “Chellea Mag”, worked as a brand ambassador for Stila Cosmetics, Makeup Forever, Clarins Skincare, and served as an educator for both Inglot Cosmetics & Sephora University. He has educated for one of South Florida’s #1 schools for makeup artistry Academy of Glam, lead makeup education for one of the country’s only Accredited Gov funded 900 hour Master Makeup Artistry Programs at Health And Style Institute in Atlanta, Ga. He now works as a Makeup artistry educator for the number one top-rated school in the state of Georgia, The Elaine Sterling Institute. Born and raised in Miami, FL now residing in Atlanta, Georgia. He has submerged himself in all things beauty; dedicated to educating the masses sharing his wealth of knowledge through learning portals on his website & social media; he focuses on realistically achievable approaches to beauty. Rashad believes that skincare is the first most important thing to any beauty regimen. He is the owner and sole creator of Rashad Terry Global Beauty, Rashad Terry Global Beauty Skincare, and The RTBG Academy. Rashad says, “his goal is to make you feel like the most beautiful, talented, and amazing person in the world simply by bringing out the natural beauty that we all have! Rashad says there’s no right or wrong, just my creative eye for the things I am most passionate about. He’s grown an obsession for beauty and it is done based on the industry standard. He says, “even your own personal beliefs about beauty are subject to a standard; even if it’s your own standard”.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has been quite a challenge. The beautiful thing was regardless of what challenges I’ve faced; creativity still prevailed at the forefront of whatever it was I did. I believe in all things you do, you should have a passion and creativity that makes you happy and purpose serves people and adds value to their lives. It wasn’t until I hit A pivotal moment in my life that purpose made its debut. Sometimes you have to go through something to gain the self-awareness and knowledge necessary to activate the purpose that lives within you. Understanding my life, value, worth, and everything else in between is what birthed my purpose. I was in a 5-year abusive relationship. Not just physical; but mental. Had I not taken ownership of what I had gone through and worked through the trauma, no relationship whether it be personal or business would probably have the capabilities to flourish. I had chosen to be with someone I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. That experience birthed the purpose within. It’s the thing I find myself doing and not even noticing it. The thing I end up doing even when I don’t want to do it. It’s how through beauty, skincare, and makeup I always find myself using my story to encourage others that no matter what, you too can find it within to motivate and inspire yourself to keep pushing and fighting to your end goal.

This entire business is a result of taking risks. I had worked on this business concept for 3 1/2 years before I actually started it. I didn’t have the funds to put it forwards but one day, I got tired of it being a vision and I wanted to make it a reality. I took a risk and funded it with the last 500 dollars in my account, I had started with one product and hoped for the best. The first two months, I had two sales and I wondered had my risk-taking set me up to be in a position I already couldn’t afford to be in. shortly after that the third month, I had sold out 30 Hydrating Facial Mist. From there, I continued production and used the money to continue to grow the next product. Now we stand with over 15 products from a 500 dollar risk.
