Today we’d like to introduce you to P. Jax.
Hi P. Jax, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m a creative entrepreneur out of Gwinnett County, Georgia. I’ve spent my whole life doing music either through lessons or school and started my professional music career around 17, 18. From there, I’ve released several music videos and projects, started my own music and clothing company, and hope to expand to a full-service label/management company in the near future.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The main struggle is always financing and resources in general. I’ve also learned that marketing and standing out from the crowd can be a challenge if not prepared for. Other than that, as long as you’re following your passion, nothing really feels like work or a struggle.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a rapper, songwriter, and producer. I would describe my sound as a “Trippy Soul” or “Smoke Soul” style of rap, very lyrical yet psychedelic and soulful. What I am most proud of is all the content I’ve released over the years and the businessman I have grown to be.
How do you think about luck?
I believe luck is when preparation meets opportunity, so it is what you make it.
