Today we’d like to introduce you to Gigi Palmer.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m originally from Miami, FL the oldest of five children. My mother Cynthia was the backbone of our family. She was the reason I wanted to become a nurse. I had to take care of a lot growing up so being a Nurturer was in my blood. But thru life’s up and downs. I had three children by the age of 19 didn’t fall thru with my dreams. But, by the grace of God I was able to relocate to Atlanta. Surrounded myself with very positive people and was able to get back in school. I started my nursing career in 1997. Over the years, It’s seemed like something was missing in my life. I’ve always had a boss Mentality and knew that I wanted more but what? I tried starting a cleaning service and Consignment clothing online store. I was never Passionate about any of those things. I was trying to fit in with society and was lost. My children grew up and moved out and now they have children of their own. I’m married now. I always wanted to break generation curses in my family. I wanted to leave something for my children and grandchildren but what? I worked as a part-time bartender on the weekends and decided to take a classes for massage therapy and body contouring. Still working at my nursing job.
In 2019 things started picking up and clients started to book more and more appointments. I decided to take a leap out on faith. After working multiple jobs over 20 years, I decided to quit my job and pursue my business full-time. I was very scared. I traveled to clients for about six months and was blessed with an office in Buckhead, Atlanta. My services are body sculpting, foot detox, teeth whitening, hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, wood therapy, lymphatic massage, Pressotherapy, Yesotherapy, sauna detox & more. My Primary goal is to focus on wellness. I have developed my own buttock enhancement and hip enhancement cream. Called the fairy magic cream. I also sell for FAJA’S for compression and body contouring. Other wellness products that I have produced is Infused Seamoss Gel and Detox Herbal Tea. I am very happy and proud of myself. I did it! Never give up continue to work hard. Being a small business owner, you will go through your challenges. But, through it all it’s you work harder than ever before! Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My struggles along the way was consistency. Marketing getting notice. Spending tons of money on advertisement.

What should you know about Total Change Wellness Spa. Total Change Wellness Spa is not only a spa for clients that had cosmetic surgery. We specialize in Wellness and health. What sets me apart from others is I have invested in equipment that most people don’t have that do the same work as me. Far as I know, I am one of many with a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. What does might sound a little strange but YouTube is my best friend. I have learned so much from YouTube and social media alone. Now I love me some education on home remedies so I buy lots of books from Amazon. I’m a very fast learner so I’d like things to be straight to the point.
