Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Harts.
Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
About me….well to start, I grew up in South Carolina, small-town girl. Always had a love for nature and music. I knew my passion had to consist of at least one of those things. I moved to Atlanta in late 2016 with my last $80 check. I end up working at American Girl and Comcast. Once I got on my feet, I tested the waters in the music and modeling industry just to see if it was something I would have confidence doing. As time went on, I hopped from job to job dealt with a lot of personal struggles including a major car accident at the end of 2019 that landed me back home in South Carolina. When the pandemic hit, I had to do a lot of self rehab and soul searching as well. In those moments, I made a promise to myself that when I came back to Atlanta, I was going to do the things that made me happy. I returned to Atlanta late 2020 and did all I set out to accomplish and then some. When 2021 came around, I hit another hardship, but luckily with the help of some friends I got right back on my feet.
After taking several contract jobs I decided to not work for anyone for a while and to just do driving service and dog walks through other applications. Eventually, a client decided they wanted to take a chance on me as an owner since I had mentioned it to her before. Needless to say, I owe her and her pup all the credit because honestly so many times, I had doubted myself or felt like nobody would be interested and she believed in me. From that point on it seemed like everything made sense for me to begin and continue my Pet Care business. As I start to grow my clientele, I see now my mom may have been right all along. I just can’t do the surgical or putting down part of caring for animals because I get way too attached, but nonetheless, I love what I do because to me animals are more human than most people think. From boarding, sitting, walks, or grooming I want every Pet Parent to know with certainty that in my care their furbaby will be treated like family at Pawtastic Pets Care.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Heck no! Lol, most of my struggles have been very personal, some too difficult to talk about at times, but just know I’m a fighter and I know if I can make it through the majority of the stuff I’ve been through, I can get through anything.
We’ve been impressed with Pawtastic Pets, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The one thing you should know is that I’m not just a dog walking service. My business does offer other services such as: boarding, sitter, grooming (only limited to nail cut and trim). Later on, I hope to have more services added for grooming and also some veterinary care once I’ve completed my certification. The one thing that separates me from other Pet Care companies is that I give a more personal, one on one experience.
It’s not different people caring for your pet, making them nervous. I make every effort to have your pet feel more secure knowing who they’re spending time with versus being anxious about having different people caring for them.
Like the slogan says, “Your Pets Fave Catch”.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Spread the word! Word of mouth is the best business! That’s all I can ask. And hopefully, one day I will be able to collaborate with different companies. Let’s say we manifest Gucci, Fendi, Nike. Who knows, but I know if I stay focused where ever the chips may fall at least I took a chance on myself and I had and have much support and love.
