Today we’d like to introduce you to Drip Kultur.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always been different in style and taste for fashion and entertainment. December of 2018 in Dallas, Texas, I came up with a Clothing line “Drip Kultur Clothing” which gained popularity early on. Within three months of launching the brand, rapper “Lil KEED” of Young Stoner Life Records was the first to wear Drip Kultur Clothing. Soon after, Drip Kultur became a household name. Current day, Drip Kultur has expanded into the entertainment industry with creating an entertainment company “Drip Kultur Worldwide LLC.” Since the notoriety of Drip Kultur Clothing, I established my own brand as “Drip Kultur”. Celebrity fashion designer and recording artist Drip Kultur released his first single “WORK” featuring JBO of Youngbloodz in 2021. Following up with new release “BIGGEST DRIP”(2022) which is making a lot of noise in the music industry.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There’s definitely been some ups and downs during this journey. In the beginning of launching my clothing line, I struggled with buying materials needed for my business. All while fighting cases in court, I tried to keep the positive attitude and continue making pieces hoping to sell them quickly just to have a few bucks in my pockets. After all of the court situations, I lucked up and got connected with a few rappers from Young Stoner Life Records. I was granted a chance to make a few pieces for those guys and soon after all of my struggles soon disappeared. Don’t get me wrong, there’s been times that I didn’t sell anything for a short while but always managed to network regardless of my situation.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a fashion designer and recording artist specializing in one of a kind pieces (jackets, short sets, jogger suits, etc.) and producing and composing music. I’m known for wearing fedoras with all of my attire. Also known for my signature jackets. I’m definitely proud of climbing to such an altitude in just a few years. I also starred in my first movie alongside Jason Mitchell, Barton Fitzpatrick and JJ Green which is titled “Everything is Both” written by Jaquavius Coleman. My unique way of dressing and not following trends but setting trends is what sets me apart from others.
