Check Out Danielle Moore’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Moore.

Hi Danielle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my cheesecake company as a way to make extra money for my son who was going off to college. It started as a side job in 2020 since I had a little more time on my hand. It has been constantly growing and I hope to go mobile one day.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been really hard building a business from the grown up with no backing. I pay for everything out of pocket while trying to maintain a household. I’m one of the first people in my family to take the entrepreneur road, so I have been figuring out things myself. I have made a lot of mistakes but I have learn a lot also. My family help as much as they can but still a one women show.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have worked in banking for the last four years… I recently left it to do my business full time. I love working with customers and making their day. What I’m known for now is the cheesecake lady. People stop in stores to ask me do I have cheesecake on me on the regular. I have over 20 flavors and love to think outside the box.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice for anyone starting out, it is never a perfect time to start a business just do it. I wish I would have known how to smart market my business. They are going to be days when you don’t make a dime but stick with it. Be ready for long nights. See it through.
