Hi Allaisia, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
7Studios is an art gallery, photography and recording studio designed to amplify Black art. We developed our concept based on my own needs as an artist and the needs of our community. I am a painter, photographer and songwriter and I wanted a studio space that would allow me to create across all of these mediums. My partner loved the concept but suggested a shared space that could be used to support other artists as well. We are both passionate about cultivating and serving our community, so it made sense to design a space that could be utilized to give shine to other artists, host workshops and events, and do outreach work as well.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Our biggest obstacle so far has been finding the right space to house all of our offerings. Although we’ve been able to offer aura photography successfully, we need a larger space that can accommodate our art gallery and recording studio. Our unique concept requires a unique space and we are patiently waiting for the perfect opportunity. In the meantime, we are focusing on aura photography and enjoying the process.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are an art gallery, photography and recording studio specializing in aura portraits. We are offering aura photography while we secure the perfect space to house all of our offerings.
Our specialized camera uses hand biosensors to collect data from the chakra points in your hands in order to capture the human aura. These portraits are printed instantly on Polaroid film. The portraits are incredibly beautiful and even more insightful. Each session includes an aura portrait, a verbal aura reading, an aura interpretation card and a box for safekeeping.
We can capture adults and children, individuals and couples. We also offer an in-depth personalized reading using guidance and/or oracle cards. This service has become increasingly popular!
Some clients have shared that they felt nervous or apprehensive prior to their session, worried about how their aura will show up. It’s so important to us that people know that every aura is beautiful! Although it can be insightful, it’s never “bad” or even “good.” We strive to keep the experience both positive and meaningful.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Customer service is absolutely essential to our success. In our effort to provide excellent customer service, we like to emphasize service. We want our genuine concern for the well-being of others to shine through every interaction with our clients. We love repeat clients so relationship building is important to us. We want anyone who chooses to support us to feel valued and we feel the best way to ensure this is through service.
