Conversations with Saga Boss

Today we’d like to introduce you to Saga Boss.

Hi Saga, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Right place right time… I’m originally from Connecticut, but I moved here with my camera in hand as a photographer and I was already connected to a few people that were here in Atlanta moving and shaking, hosting events and other things around the city. I’ll be forever grateful to Javon Chambers and Jason Carey for the opportunity to presented me with when nobody knew who I was. They invited me to come shoot at the IBNX Radio 1 yr anniversary event where I was able to talk to the owner and get a spot to host my own show…The DTTO Show. So between photography and interviews, I was able to meet some amazing and talented people and create bonds that would help me grow. Good or bad…there’s a lesson in everything we experience in life. People always ask when they meet me, “so what do you do?” My answer has grown so much since moving here, but just so the readers that don’t know me can get a feel for the many hats I wear…I’ll name some:

– Award Winning Online Radio Personality
– Award Winning Graphic Designer
– Photographer
– Videographer
– Model
– Actor
– Event and Red Carpet Host
– Hip Hop Artist
– Artist Management (BossCat Entertainment)
– Event Planner
– Philanthropist
– Mentor
– Floor Technician
– Kitchen/Bathroom Designer

…there’s more but I’ll stop there…lol! Now we (Myself and Queen Diamond)are back and forth between Atlanta and Memphis…grinding and growing. Our slogan speaks for itself… #WeGotUs

God has blessed us the gift of being creative, and we try to use it at all times!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Sometimes I have gotten in my own way. Whether it was self-doubt, bad decisions, family issues or anything else. Then in 2021, I ended up in ICU for four days and found out I was diabetic. That definitely shook me up because don’t get sick often. Had to readjust my eating habits and do a lot of things differently than I was.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I would have to say the two things that I’m known for are my show (The DTTO Show) and probably doing graphics. The hardest part about choosing what I’m most proud of is that they all play a significant role in who I am and they all allow me to be creative.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I would say my personality because I have the ability to walk in and change the mood of a room without saying a word. People see me and expect high energy, fun and laughter or they expect me to get stuff done. I feel like I can sit and talk to anyone and hold a solid conversation or I can go toe toe with the funniest person in the room. I feel I was born to entertain on any level and in any arena. I love what I do and enjoy making a difference in the lives of people I come in contact with.
