Today we’d like to introduce you to Frankie Ball.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was raised by a single mom who didn’t take no as the final answer my dad was barely around as he battled with drugs and Alcohol until I was an adult. He is now one of my best friends and my Father at the same time. That lifestyle opened up a gateway for me to experience manhood at an earlier age.
My adult journey and road to self-love, respect and success started in the U.S. Navy.
Come from my city which at one point in town was known as chocolate city and being integrated into Majority white atmosphere, I experienced culture shock. But I also got an opportunity to surround myself with other like-minded individuals from all around the world.
After leaving the Navy getting married and having my first child, I decided to come back to the Washington DC area to pursue my education where I became a civil engineer and worked for multiple municipal‘s and utility companies. This experience taught me Ingenuity in further my knowledge on improvising…
Looking back, I notice the lack of knowledge that my people have within the realm of real estate, new construction, And technology. This drove me to open up my business called Ball Solutions.
I help small developers, develop land, new and existing build on structures. I educate and provide my clients with a luxury experience as a developer. The largest project I’ve had over the years I’m currently on. This project is going for $3.6 million in the Suitland, Maryland area.
These experiences opened up the door for me to partner in a TV production company named The Underground lab.
Where I am also owner and Director of podcast production. I had the opportunity to teach Podcasting to the Communication majors at Bowie State University…
This was a vehicle for me to publish my first book called “Calculated with love”.
Book was released January 7, 2022. And it was dedicated to my oldest son Frankie Lee Ball III. This book is cater to men 18 and older a points and got them in the direction to have a maintain sustainable relationships in life.
I am also the creator of THE ROOT CAUSE Podcast. Which I’ve done for three years with three other brothers. Where we talk all things relationships and it’s effect on the black community. We have book bags drives and mentor young men.
The Podcast has opened doors for me to speak a few High Schools and colleges with the Washington DC Area.
Finally, I am the treasurer of a real estate investment group name New Growth Homes.
I’m now 38 years old and I’ve been married to the same beautiful woman for 18 years with three children.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wish the road had been a little smoother. Coming up without a Consistent man in my life, I had a bump my head and find out things the hard way in regards to manhood. Causing many late nights, mistakes, burned bridges, Money loss and hurt feelings. I had no clue that relationship would be the most important thing in my world.
I was lucky, I was exposed to the streets early yet I did not fall to its temptations for long.
Being in the Navy doing the Rocky freedom wasn’t an easy task either.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When you allow a man to become creative, he feels powerful purposeful and proud of himself. I’ve chosen to surround myself with my own creations so that I don’t have to look at others through the eyes of envy.
I’m a co-owner of a TV and multimedia production company is also published books does radio and consults. (The Underground Lab) .I produced, direct and consult a fleet of Podcast.

Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork for many years. I tried to do it alone bumping my head against the wall afraid to let folks in for fear of criticism and hate but when I developed the confidence to realize that constructive criticism made me stronger, I was all in.
