Hi Camille & Marlon, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2018, as a recently married couple in our mid-twenties, we unfortunately found ourselves at our highest weights of 205lbs (Camille) and 475lbs (Marlon). We knew that we needed to make a true change for our health and wanted to stop selling ourselves short by making excuses. But, as we all know, that’s much easier said than done. We continued our lives with our poor eating habits and lack of consistency in daily activity until we finally had enough.
In the spring of 2020, the world had just “shut down” and we decided to take that time to sit down and understand why we struggled so badly with food and weight-loss. We didn’t want to just start another weight loss journey, so we didn’t. Instead, we sought out on a journey of consistency, knowledge, and understanding. Looking past the scale and analyzing how we got there was the approach we needed in order to really focus on creating better habits.
After just eight months of focus and consistency, we managed to lose 170lbs together! Shortly after the beginning of 2021, were approached by Good Morning America for a live TV segment on getting healthy for the new year. Literally thousands of people were inspired by our story of being on this journey together and flooded our small Instagram page with messages and requests for help. This opportunity to share our story with their viewers really opened our eyes to the impact that we could make on others that struggled with their health just like us.
Like so many other people, we struggled for years with weight loss and building habits that would benefit our health. Once we figured out how to overcome some of those life-holding habits, we understood that our purpose was now to help others change their lives.
Now, as coaches (Marlon-Certified Personal Trainer, Camille-Certified Nutrition Coach), our mission is to provide people with the resources to be successful on their own journey of consistency towards a healthier life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to where we are today has definitely not been smooth, but that’s what makes it worthwhile. Knowing that you are stepping up to the challenges each day of intently doing things that will get you closer to your goals makes the road’s bumps not so noticeable. Learning to enjoy the process while making progress has been one of our biggest lessons on our journey together. There will be days that you don’t feel like working out or cooking dinner, but that moment you make the decision to do it anyway should be celebrated. Those small decisions you make each day have the possibility of leading to big, life-changing results.

We are a husband and wife team that have taken all of the successes and failures we endured during our +230lbs weight loss journey together and simplified these tools so others can experience the same success in a shortened period of time.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
We see the fitness, nutrition, and wellness industry continuing to grow tremendously, with a main focal point being social media or online platforms. Social media has helped to readily provide millions of people with the information and assistance they need at any given moment of the day, directly at their fingertips. This holds especially true for those looking to lose weight or make lifestyle changes.
