Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica & Anahi Ortega.
Hi Jessica & Anahi, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Our business actually started with my daughter Anahi. In the spring of 2020 Anahi initiated Creativa Collection, making jewelry. Since we were in the beginning of the pandemic and we were in quarantine Anahi and I sat at the table and were making crafts when she encouraged me to make some polymer clay earrings. At first, I just made a few because I was bored but I then started learning techniques and started to get a bit creative and now it’s my passion! Anahi and I became business partners and we now are doing what we love making jewelry!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a beautiful experience working with my daughter even though at times, we have different creative ideas, but we have learned to communicate, listen to each other and come to a common ground. We would say that one struggle is getting our business known, we work actively to promote our business and continue to grow it.

We both make handmade jewelry. Anahi specializes in beaded jewelry, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. She also makes items out resin, she does tye die. You name it she does it! I make handmade polymer clay earrings. We are both proud that our business is growing and that we are doing something that reflects our creativity and our love for fashion! We are different from the rest because we are a mother daughter business that offers a variety of products; we have items for little girls, for teenagers, for men and women.
