Today we’d like to introduce you to Aryn Hampton.
Aryn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I guess I could easily start and equate all of this to a background of lack of support in my mental healthcare. I made my first batches of candles on my stove in my kitchen. Tranquilizer was an anti-anxiety relief for myself. It didn’t fix everything but I was creating something and that was…something I suppose. After I made my next self-prescribed, crystal adorned prescription in the form of soy wax, I started thinking that maybe other people could benefit from this as well….maybe not everyone likes artificially scented candles and would appreciate essential oils, soy wax, crystals, and herbs?! I made an Etsy, I signed up for a ton of markets in Atlanta and those markets and the relationships I’ve built have seriously made everything worth it. It’s kept me very busy and sometimes very stressed. Being able to talk to people one on one about what candle best suits them…..I live for it. There’s nothing else like it and I wouldn’t change it. At the end of the day, it still doesn’t feel like “work” to me. Umm even though my body hurts a lot the next day from loading in and out LOL.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, it’s not all rainbows. HELLO! I said I started this with lack of mental healthcare. Just kidding. Starting a business is f*cking hard. You worry about everything. I can honestly say though, I have never had a single doubt in my mind that I wasn’t moving in the right direction. To say it isn’t a struggle or stressful would be a lie, though.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Three Crones specializes in hand-poured soy, intention candles, wax melts, protection oils, clearing kits, ritual matches and vintage altar sets. Each candle/wax melt is set to a specific intention, comes with a crystal and is topped with corresponding herbs and flowers. All candles are small batch and made with essential oils and soy wax.

I am also a hairstylist and have been for 12 years. 🙂 I have my own salon in Kennesaw.
