Hi Shan-coa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started of doing yoga because I was looking to learn how to use my energy and anxiety in a more creative way. As I done yoga, it became passion for me. I knew I wanted to bring it to my culture community of Nola. It took a while for the community to catch on, so I moved to atl to expand my name. ATL showed love immediately to the point I moved back home a month later and my business flourished through COVID. I’ve been able to bring influence to so many people in the culture.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Entrepreneur ship definitely not for the weak. It comes with many ups and downs you have to learn to work through. Definitely struggles unsuccessful investments, people not believing in you, and find a team that has vision definitely been the hardest part.
We’ve been impressed with Stretch Galore, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in yoga for flexibility. I’m well known for helping inflexible people become flexible through the practice of yoga. I’m also a yoga influencer known as BLACKGIRLSSTRETCH. What makes my yoga practice different is by the way it’s practiced. I’m a more one on one.
I want readers to know that my brand is here to influence mental health is awhile new form and color. When you search yoga, it’s not us you see and I’m ready to change that.
