Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikia “Naj” Jackson.
Hi Naj, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started as a professionally Trained Dancer. Began acting in stage plays, shifted into film shortly after. Started modeling within a year or two later. Worked on set behind the scenes in various roles and now operate as a Casting Director and Unit Production Manager primarily.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I experienced work-related injuries from a previous place of employment which caused temporary difficulties but other than that things have been pretty smooth. Only real struggle I had was difference of opinion.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an artist that not only understands her craft but also works diligently to get the job done both on and off the screen. I specialize in Modern Dance, Acting and Coaching. As well as Casting and Production Management. I am most proud that my reputation and work ethic continues to get me hired. I am capable of successfully multi-tasking with minimal error.
