Meet Kelsea Green of Code Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsea Green.

Hi Kelsea, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was a teenage mom that refused to be a statistic. I thought that I had it all together at one point. In 2016 I was enrolled into nursing school. I had this big plan of becoming a travel nurse. Those plans spiraled because the school was forced to closed and I was left with no career and no degree. After the closing of the school, I went through a phase of deep depression. I was lost, almost 30 with no career. One day I decided to enroll into esthetic school and the rest was history. I created, owned and operated Code Beauty Aesthetic Clinic. I have built a six-figure empire just from being an esthetician. Who would have thought that skincare would be my thing? I’ve managed to clear and heal acne and help others relieve their eczema with my own formula of body butter “KoKo Butter”. Thanks to Covid, I begin to envision myself with multiple businesses and decided to take action. I now own two other business, She Builds Wealth (credit repair and financial healing) and Pretty Girls Get Waisted (comfortable everyday shapewear).

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing that requires you to be self-taught will be a smooth road. I have invested thousands of dollars and made a ton of mistakes just to be able to have the skill set that I have now!

As you know, we’re big fans of Code Beauty. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a licensed esthetician that specializes in healing skin. My top skills are chemical peels and microneedling. I focused on learning those two skill sets specifically because I saw early on in my career how they were the meat and potatoes of transforming skin.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I’m all for setting my day upright and feeding my mind. I always start my morning with prayer, a good stretch and morning inspiration from YouTube. Then after I drop my children off at school, I plug into a podcast. My favorite podcast is Redefining Wealth with Patrice Washington.
