Today we’d like to introduce you to Robsol.
Hi Robsol, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Born in Wadesboro, NC and raised in Monroe, NC, I started singing at the age of seven in the church choir. With musical influences ranging from Jodeci and Calvin Richardson to Tank, along with church influencers, I knew that I wanted to be a professional R&B/Soul singer & songwriter. Robsol really begins to flourish with his music career as a teenager in Monroe, NC. He recorded his first album. In 2011, I released my heartfelt first single, “Find A Way” released on iTunes. The song was modest & gained popularity in North Carolina. Between 2011-2019 I dealt with many personal issues, but through hard work and support from family and friends, I used those moments to allow me to write songs from a place of vulnerability. I released “It’s Gon Be Alright” in 2020, which created more insights & traction on his social media pages, along with viewers on his YouTube channel. Also, in the year 2020, he released the heartfelt wedding song, “My Everything“, produced by Grammy-winning producer Michael Magndeo Crawford! My Everything” has allowed him to gain new fans & followers, with more views on his YouTube channel. I released my EP “Something Different“ in March 2021. I created my own unique merchandise and branding, RobSol Merchandise. With catchy phrases as “It’s The Beard For Me,” this has allowed people to view another side.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Some of the struggles along the way have been inconsistency, lack of motivation, lack of resources, and finding my lane.

I’m an R&B/Soul singer. My specialty is my ability to release songs that are heartfelt. I’m known for my hard work, resilience and creativity. I am most proud of the getting real serious about my craft and connecting with two of the best producers from NC. I am most proud of releasing an EP that has some good quality r&b music produced by Gavin Williams and Michael Crawford. I am proud of putting in the work and not giving up. What sets me apart is my tenacity and hard work.
