Today we’d like to introduce you to Dionte Sherrill.
Hi Dionte, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
So 3-4 years ago, I was asked to be a cameraman for an associate I knew at the Stellar Awards in Las Vegas NV. They told me how they wanted the shots & were pleased at my work. I fell in love with photography & videography at the same time as I was doing it. I even taught myself to edit on Adobe software. I studied by researching online & learning by professionals who were already in the industry years before me. It’s a passion of mines, & I love the work I do.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all, starting from 0 is always gonna be hard for someone just coming in. From getting the clientele to having to sacrifice to get the clientele but actually don’t get the clientele you want. It’s a long road I have to take to appreciate the growth, & I know I will be grateful in its harvest & won’t take it for granted.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m also a musician, I play piano/keyboard since I was 11. Music is my 1st love and passion. I play at my church. I travel state to state with different bands for gigs. I graduated from SAE Institute and got my Audio Engineer Degree. I’m a producer of music for a few artists that’s in the making. With all of that, I’m very proud of owning my own business that is a one-stop-shop for media, sound & music. You get professional quality with reasonable pricing.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see my business expanding more for greater opportunities, where I can employ others & have a team here in Atlanta & also in other states.
