Hi Sparkle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m a small YouTuber with big dreams. I started my channel in 2019 and instantly gained thousands of subscribers a few months later. I’m widely known for my transparency and authenticity on and off of YouTube. My following mainly consists of women between the ages of 25 and 34. My subscribers often tell me that they enjoy my channel because of my outgoing personality. I’ve always aspired to be an inspiration to women of all ages and to remind them that no matter your age or situation, anything is possible. I started my brand Sparkle Lei’ Inc. in 2021. My online store consists of workout gear, custom merch, and cute accessories. I hold my brand near and dear to me mainly because it reminds me of how quickly your situation can change for the better!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It was smooth at first. But after a while, things began to slow down because I was not as consistent on YouTube as before, causing my website traffic to decrease. I began to doubt myself and feel as if I was failing because my business wasn’t flourishing as fast as I’d like.

Sparkle Lei’ Inc. was solely created based on my YouTube channel. It specializes in all things girls! From lashes to accessories, to shapewear: everything is completely customized. I am all about women empowerment. So all of my products are based around enhancing a woman’s beauty. Without my supporters/subscribers, there would be no Sparkle Lei’! What sets my business apart from others is my branding. I put a lot of time and effort into my packaging and the overall brand itself. You can spot my products from a mile away.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck played a major role in my life. In most cases, it takes over a year or two for a YouTuber to be eligible for monetization. For me, it took seven months! I also believe that it was inevitable to happen for me. My personality and drive is out of this world.
