Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Crocker.
Hi Bianca, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As an Atlanta native, I have always been ambitious and desired to be my own boss. So with anything I did in life, I tried to find a way to include my entrepreneurial skills. My interest for Real Estate started during my career as a property claim adjuster. I always would hear my customer complain about what they did not know when purchasing their home and how they wished things were different. I was intrigued to be able to provide my expertise in property adjusting while pursuing my career in Real Estate because I have the background of some of the things to look for that are common in the claims world. Being able to provide that extra security to my clients is one of my strengths to be the best licensed Real Estate agent in Georgia.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Smooth is the last thing I can say lol. Being a mother of four and working full time, while attending real estate school was tough. However, I am a firm believer that if you want it, you get it by all means!!! So I did whatever it took to make sure that I passed the school and state exams. I paid for tutoring, studied YouTube videos, purchased material, researched brokers, and most importantly MOVED IN SILENCE AND PRAYED.
Now that I have received my license, it’s all about marketing right now and getting my business, #HomeGirl, LLC and my name out here in the real estate world.
We’ve been impressed with #HomeGirl, LLC , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a licensed Real Estate agent in the state of Georgia and by far your favorite #HomeGirl. I am currently licensed under Keller Williams Citywide located in Smyrna, GA but I service all surrounding areas. One thing that sets me apart from others is that I am not just a realtor, I have an extensive background as a claim adjuster, so I am familiar with the home inside and out. Although I do not appraise homes, I can be that extra eye for what you may not look for or notice. It’s not just about selling you a home or selling your home but making sure that I make the experience as smooth as possible for you from beginning to end and being that agent who cares.
The thing that I am most proud of regarding my brand is that it is my own and it allows me to build generational wealth for my children, I know it may sound cliche but I got it out of the mud and I did it on my own!!
If it is one thing I want the readers to know about my services, it would be that I am not transactional. I am the real estate agent that you can depend on to go that extra mile. Let’s get that dream home you desire!!!
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My mentor through life would have to be my sister. She is the first best friend I ever had. She doesn’t know but she helped me so much through my business journey even before she knew what I was doing. She has always reminded me of who I was even when I thought otherwise. She has been my role model for every aspect of my life and I appreciate every word she spoke and every action behind it. I love you Erica!!!!
