Matana Organics is an earth-conscious bath & body brand paving new paths when it comes to prenatal skin solutions and postpartum skincare. Inspired by a mom and her own struggles to find chemical-free skincare solutions post-delivery Matana Organics was established in 2019. We celebrate and honor the divine miracle of childbirth by formulating effective skincare blends designed to naturally nourish, soothe and help protect the skin before, during and after gestation. We believe that luxurious and clean beauty should be accessible for everyone and create products — that work for all skin types.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Possibly one of the biggest challenge we had to face was the fear of being unsuccessful. When you are starting a business, you are taking a huge risk. Like most new entrepreneur we were terrified initially to take this risk, but with the help of friends and our family’s support, we were driven to go for this risk, and I am glad that we followed our passion. Then after establishing our footing in this market, we’ve realized that this industry is full of cut-throat competition, and you need to perform your best if you must survive. But, thanks to all our customers, their love and support have kept us going, and somehow, we’ve managed to sail successfully through our first year of business ownership. And we’re very content with the results.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Hebrew word for “gift,” Matana is a hospitable term that quintessentially embodies the foundational framework of our trademark philosophy. We’re in the business of bestowing everyone and mamas-to-be with non-toxic skincare, plant-based recovery products and other nontoxic healing aids to help them make the most of their natural gift and journey into motherhood. We also recently announced on Instagram the launch of our FIRST EVER body butter, a tropical polishing trifecta teeming with healing hydration. The therapeutic infusion consists purely of refined Brazilian mango oil and butter, jojoba oil, guava oil and more. These revitalizing oils and butter replenish moisture, rejuvenate, shield skin against free radicals, nourish deep below the surface and naturally boost radiance to reveal a supple touch and luminous glow. The $32 body butter, becomes available for purchase August 1, which is Matana’s most requested product.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Typically, we have busy workdays, but having a healthy work-family balance, practicing self-care, and allocating time to unwind is important to us. So, we usually like going horseback riding on the farm with friends and family if our schedule permits, during the summer. And our least favorite about our city would have to be the traffic.
